Now that you've read, shove this into brain... According to an article in TV Guide (for the week of Feb 19th-25th), a third HSM IS in the talking stages, but it isn't looking good for Zac to participate. Quote: "Cast members have been alerted of plans for a third HSM, but none have been signed yet." Zac says..."I highly doubt I would be involved in that, there's so much Disney stuff being made now, I would rather pick something more challenging."  The article confirms the title " Haunted High School Musical" and says it is expected to hit theaters in time for Halloween 2008. ummm...wow? but i saw that coming. --- The DVD and CD of the High School Musical tour will be available on May 31th.
Not anymore news on that subject except that...lol --- HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL BARBIE DOLLS! It's the last day of school and the beginning of summer. A talent competition is being held at a country club belonging to Ryan and Sharpay's family. Meanwhile Troy gets a summer job there. Also another country club will be competing against Sharpay and Ryan's and instead of the basketball dance in the first movie, a golf dance will take place!
Longer Summary:
Jealous of the attention Troy and Gabriella's newfound talents have received; Ryan and Sharpay set out to restore the "natural balance" of life. Their plan: break up Troy and Gabriella, so they will not want to be in the spotlight. In an attempt to break the two up, Sharpay fakes drowning at the pool, which means that lifeguard Troy has to give her mouth to mouth. At the same time, Ryan makes Gabriella think that Troy is cheating on her with Sharpay. There will be a completion at a Country Club. Will Troy and Gabriella end up back together and sing at the completion or will Sharpay and Troy be feeling the start of something new?

* Bill Borden, producer of High School Musical, said the film was originally planned as a three-part telefilm.
* All the stars from High School Musical return for the sequel, as well as the director and choreographer, Kenny Ortega.
* This movie is going into production immediately after Zac Efron finishes Hairspray.

* Was originally titled High School Musical 2 but got changed to High School Musical 2: Sing It All Or Nothing!

The movie will take place at a country club that Ryan and Sharpay's Grandfather founded. While Ryan and Sharpay lounge by the pool, the rest of the cast gets jobs at the club. Troy is a lifeguard while Chad, Taylor, and Gabriella work as caddies and waiters!

"Really, Troy and Gabriella have just got started...just got rolling," Zac said. "I definitely think Troy and Gabriella have more to come."
In fact, cultivating their chemistry was a process for the two on-screen "steam" stealers. When asked what went into developing their romance, the two explained... "Kenny did have us watch a few movies, though, now that I think of it!" Vanessa dished.
"He made us watch Romeo & Juliet! The original one," Zac shared. "And Vanessa looked just like the girl in it."
"No I don't!" she countered, shooting him a flirty glance. "You look like the guy!"
